Oakland Privacy is a hub for news & information about surveillance in Oakland, collected by and for privacy activists.

Our main focus is on the Oakland Domain Awareness Center, a $10.9 million surveillance system that would integrate cameras from the Port of Oakland, the City of Oakland, Oakland public school CCTV, gunshot detection, license plate readers, Twitter feeds, and more.
